Brother Casey Stiteler, President of the Associated Students of the University of Nevada, was recognized this past week for his achievements and community contributions.
At the age of eleven, Casey was diagnosed with brain cancer. During the year that followed, he underwent harsh surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.
Now, Casey is cancer free and uses the experience as motivation for his future.
